Along the Road

Last weekend, Tim and I visited his family in upstate New York.   I love the area because there is just so much land & vegetation, and the lighting is always mesmerizing.   So when Tim suggested a bike ride photo date, I was game.  Here are a few shots from a glorious day…

West Family Portrait

This past Monday was loads of fun.  I met the West family for a family portrait session at Scusset Beach in Sagamore Beach.  The weather was absolutely amazing, and the lighting was perfect.  Here are some of my favorites…

Devens Common Center | Wedding

I helped Joseph Prezioso photograph a lovely wedding  in Devens, MA a couple weeks ago.  My favorite part was our visit to a near by apple orchard at Sholan Farms where we took most of the portraits of the bride & groom.  Here are a few of my favorite shots from that day.

Kerri & George’s Wedding at the Taj

Last Saturday, my husband Tim and I photographed Kerri & George’s awesome wedding.  We started the day at Kerri’s parents home, where they were both getting ready along with their family, and adorable dog Otis. Kerri has fantastic taste, and I fell in love with her darling knee length wedding gown, and her sparkling bridal shoes.   Once everyone was ready we gathered in the courtyard for a few photos before leaving for the Taj.  Both ceremony, and reception were held on the roof deck which is one of my favorite places to photograph.  It has a great atmosphere, and the perfect location for an intimate affair.  Not to mention, the views of Boston are spectacular, and the close proximity to the public garden and common.   Naturally, we took full advantage and had ourselves a great portrait session after the ceremony in the garden.  The reception to follow, was filled with so many great moments.  There were great speeches, lots of laughs, and tons of dancing. Love filled the air!  It was an amazing day, and I can’t wait to share my photos…

New Hair Cut

Yesterday was a big day for me.  It was finally time for me to chop off my hair, so I could donate it to Locks of Love.   I started growing out my hair right after Tim proposed to me in hopes to have long hair for the wedding. After achieving my goal, I figured I would keep going so I could make a donation.  Yesterday was exactly 11 months after the wedding, and although I loved my long hair( it could stay in a bun without any accessories) it was definitely time to have it cut.  Naturally, I had Tim take a few photos of it first.  One of the ladies at the salon was really nice and took some shots too.  I even had my dear friend Valerie snap a few outside the Kelleher Rose Garden, all in the name of documentation.  Last night after returning home, I took out the ruler.  I wanted to know how many inches were no longer there.  One of the other women getting her hair cut yesterday was not impressed at all by the length of my hair, but I think 16 inches is pretty good contribution. I feel so relieved, and refreshed now! Thank you so much Mariela.  You did an awesome job!  For any of you in need of a hair cut, go see her at the Leeba Salon on State St. in Boston! She’s fabulous!

Renaissance Golf Club | Wedding

Last weekend, I assisted Joseph Prezioso at a wonderful wedding at the Renaissance Golf Club in Haverill.  I was so excited when the bride greeted us, because I instantly recognized her as one of the bridesmaids from a previous wedding that Joseph and I photographed.  Just as I had remembered, she was extremely warm, and friendly, and even asked me about my own wedding.  I knew right away that she was going to be a blast to work with.  As the day continued I realized that the bride and I share similar tastes.  I loved all her flower arrangements, choices of colors, and of course her dress.   She looked absolutely stunning in her gown, and when the Groom and her met for their reveal before the ceremony, he could not take his eyes off of her.  The Bride & Groom were so sweet with each other, and it was a pleasure to capture all the magical moments of their special day.  Here are a few of my favorites shots of their wedding.

Village Inn Resort – Narragansett | Wedding

This past Sunday, I teamed up with Joseph Prezioso for another spectacular wedding.  We started off the day photographing the bridal party while they got ready at the Village Inn Resort in Narragansett.  We then walked across the street to the city gazebo, where they had an amazing ceremony filled with music, laughter, and love.  Family formals followed the ceremony, and then we were off with the bridal party to a beautiful location on the cliffs overlooking the water.  As the sun started to set we arrived back at the resort for a wonderful reception filled with many heartfelt toasts, traditional African dances, and big smiles!  This wedding was truly special, and I can’t wait to share some of my images with you.  Enjoy!

Summer & Nick’s Wedding

Last Saturday was absolutely an amazing day, spent photographing a fantastic wedding, reconnecting with old friends, and working alongside my husband.  Tim and I started the day off at the John Carver Inn in Plymouth where Summer, my friend and classmate from high school was getting ready.  Many of Summer’s bridesmaids were also friends and old classmates of mine, which made for a very relaxed setting, and lots of laughs.   We took a quick break with the ladies to travel down the road to another hotel where Nick and his groomsmen were getting ready.   After a few shots with them, we returned to capture Summer putting on her gorgeous gown.  Once everyone was ready, we all traveled a short distance to the White Cliffs Country Club which is a beautiful location, and overlooks Cape Cod Bay.  The couple was married on the steps of the Gazebo in front of their family and friends.  Afterward, there was a photo session starting with family formals, and followed by an adventure down on the beach with just the newlyweds.  The trip back up the cliff may have been a bit of a process, but it was so worth the images that were captured down by the water.  The rest of the evening was filled with wonderful toasts, great food, and loads of dancing!  I had such a great time photographing Summer and Nick’s big day, and can’t wait to share with you some of my favorite images! Enjoy!

Fairmont Copley Plaza | Wedding

The third and final wedding from this past weekend started us off in Norwood.  The ceremony was held at St. Catherine’s Church, and then we all traveled to Boston for a beautiful reception at the luxurious Fairmont Copley Plaza.  This wedding was very touching, and filled with lots of music, fun, and dancing!  Here are a few of my favorite shots…

Atkinson Country Club | Wedding

This past Saturday, I joined Joseph Prezioso for another fantastic wedding.  We met in Boxford at the bride’s childhood home where everyone was getting ready,  The house was filled with a wonderful energy, great food, and lots of hot pink!  Right as we left for the ceremony it began to pour, but this did not dampen the spirits of the bride.  When she arrived at St. Augustine’s in Andover she was all smiles, and looked so excited to be getting married. The ceremony was lovely, and as the priest shared the couple’s story there smiles grew even more.  After the ceremony, we all traveled up north to Atkinson Country Club in New Hampshire.  The rain finally subsided, and we were able to capture some bridal portraits outside.  The reception that followed was so much fun, filled with lots of laughs, great food, and fantastic dancing. Here are a few of my shots…
